Team Developments

Why is it that your children’s exams seem to take up more of your life than your own exams ever did? With my youngest daughter Isabel studying for GCSE’s, my middle son Jack studying for A levels and my oldest Ben taking law exams at University in London, life in the Boulter household is a little fraught at the moment and I feel for any other parent going through the process! Fortunately, within the business we have been able to adapt to the demands of parenthood, recognising our own responsibilities and those of our clients, as parents and grandparents and for the last five years have run BoulterBowen with three ‘academic’ terms, rather than four calendar quarters per year. A simple but efficient adaptation to the realities of life! The confidence boost generated last year by winning the Institute of Financial Planning’s David Norton Award for Excellence has resulted in a number of new developments in the first term of 2011. We are pleased and proud to welcome two new members into our team:

At the same time, Trish Jones has taken a lifestyle decision to set up her own business from her home in Plymouth called TaxGenie. Trish will still work closely with the team at BoulterBowen providing tax compliance services for clients, but without the daily 100 mile commute and with the freedom to spend more time in her second home in Cyprus. We wish her every success. Summer term is well underway and as Andrew and Martin settle in we have a couple of further developments to announce which should enable us to deliver WealthCare to a greater number of clients, without diluting the level of service we provide to our existing clients. As ever we would ask you to give us your feedback and if you experience any change in the service you get from us (positive or negative) please do let Mo or I know. |
